Necessity is the mother of invention. I work on my computer for many hours every day. With all of the new security on web sites I found myself wishing I had a cell phone stand so I can read my 2 Factor Authentications code when logging in to secure web sites like banking or PayPal etc.

I decided to model up a universal stand since my phone had an Otter Box case on it and my wife & kids phones have thin cases. After a few versions and some usage testing with the family, I have a Universal cell phone stand with four preset standing angles. A nice feature is the stand will flat pack so you can put it in a bag or case and not wonder if it will make the trip. We also are printing these from PETG so your hot laptop fan won't warp this one like some stands made from PLA. PETG is tough, UV resistance and heat resistant up to about 176 deg Fahrenheit.

I'm finding it very handy at the kitchen table and on my desk. I'm too lazy to carry the stand from room to room so I have a few stand sprinkled around the house.
